Quality Standard & Business Management System

Holmes Consulting’s Quality Assurance (QA) system has been ISO 9001 certified since 1994, underpinning our dedication to due diligence, accuracy, and delivering on our quality promises. All project work will be carried out in strict accordance with our ISO accredited quality assurance procedures.
Our QA policy sits within a robust, company-wide Business Management System, governed by a dedicated Quality Manager. Whenever we commence work on projects, the Quality Manager will generate a project-specific Quality Plan, forming a foundation for quality across the lifecycle of the project, as well as providing the appropriate framework for continuous quality improvement.
Project Management System
Holmes Consulting employs a market-leading Job Management System (JMS)—an advanced technology platform provided by Deltek Vision. Using JMS we can accurately track project progress, job costs, variations, and cash flow, ensuring projects proceed on time and to budget. This system provides real time management of ‘input’ (progress against costs and cash flow) and ‘output’ (invoicing and variations) for the project. Our structure also includes an in-house Document Controller, who will actively manage all the project paper work, including document transmittals, issue and receipt of hardcopy and electronic information. This structure ensures accuracy, timeliness and security of our delivery processes.
Health & Safety
Holmes Consulting has a fully compliant Health & Safety system and will take charge of developing a specific Health & Safety Plan for provision of services to this project. All work we undertake will be completed to the requirements of the Holmes Consulting Occupational Health & Safety Manual. All of our site staff are ‘Site Safe’ certified and we maintain a register of their Health & Safety training. During construction phase, or at any time people are visiting the site, we will take full responsibility for site inductions explaining site visit protocol.
Holmes Consulting is committed to measurement, management and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Our in-house technical tools ensure our staff are up to date with sustainability practices in design and, through the Toitū carbonreduce® certification programme, our staff are provided the information and understanding they need to ensure we take every opportunity to minimise our impact on the environment. The Toitū carbonreduce® programme forms part of Holmes Consulting’s broader commitment to actively reducing our environmental impact.
